At Swimfun in Joure, your child has the opportunity – in a fun way – to get his / her swimming certificate A, B, and C. There is no greater fun than water fun. After all, what could be more fun than playing in the water with friends? In a water-rich country such as the Netherlands it is necessary that children learn to swim at a young age. In Swimfun this is possible starting from 4 years old. Below you will find all information about the swimming lessons and getting the A, B and C diploma in Swimfun.

Easyswim-method

The swimming lessons in Swimfun are given according to the Easyswim method. Swimming lessons with the Easyswim method give your child the opportunity to get acquainted with water in a safe way. In order to give each child sufficient personal attention, a maximum of nine children will be placed in a group at the start of the swimming ABC. The lessons are given in a playful way with many interactive forms.

Parents

While waiting, parents can take a seat in our restaurant with free Wi-Fi, or use our facilities such as the solarium and sauna. With some regularity we organize viewing lessons where you can watch the whole session. In addition, the parents get the opportunity to view the progress of the last five minutes of each lesson and to talk to the swimming instructor.

Free swimming

As soon as your child subscribes to the Swimming ABC, he or she will receive a Swimfun swimming lesson card. Children who take the A diploma may use this swimming lesson card to swim for free as often as they wish. On presentation of their card they receive free entrance under the supervision of a (paying) adult. Convenient for practicing together.

Practice hour

Every Saturday between 10:00 and 11:00 you can practice extra for the desired diploma together with your child during the practice hour. The famous ‘sail’ is available for use during this hour. Of course you can also use the practice hour with your child who already goes for diploma B or C.

Licensed Swim-ABC

Swimfun is in possession of a Swim-ABC License and thus complies with the new quality criteria for swimming lessons for the Swimming-ABC of the NRZ. This gives you the reassurance that Swimfun acts according to the new quality standard of the swimming branch. Everyone is allowed to offer swimming lessons in the Netherlands and to issue a swimming certificate. This is not regulated by law. Unfortunately, the different swimming diplomas do not always lead to the same National Standard for Swimming Safety. Swimfun has the license and is independently tested each year by the National Board for Swimming Safety. Swimfun also meets the code of conduct for the swimming sector. So you know for sure that the swimming lessons and the swimming diploma meet the most recent quality criteria and you lay the foundation for lifelong swimming fun and safety for your child.

You can register your child here for the swimming lessons. This can also be done at the reception of Swimfun via a registration form. After registration we will contact you as soon as possible.
